interhouse cross country today. turf city was new terrain for most ppl. it was 3.7km long. i guess i dont detest it as much as before now :) i didnt get top 10 like i hoped to.. i got like 12th.. but ohwells i had a good run and those who overtook me at the last stretch totally deserved it. unlike me, they want it enough and are good enough to sprint to the end. it was really great pacing with jess! i never kept a good constant speed like today before! everytime we wanted to overtake someone, we would signal to each other and zoom! we're ahead of more people! :) if i wasnt pacing with jess i would definitely have slowed down somewhere along the way. right when we turned the bend for the last stretch we were supposed to pick up pace but i didnt think i could. so it was like
jia: jess go ahead
jess: you sure?
jia: yup. go!
and i was so super duper proud of jess!! she overtook like 3 people to get 7th place! haha my last year's placing.. -.- sigh, i always admired people who have such strong mindpower. must be like them! samantha and chowie overtook me at the last stretch. but they worked for it so good for them! only at the last 30m when i heard someone gaining on me, who was lianny, then i decided to sprint to the end! if not i would have got 13th. eee. hahaha
the cheering competition was pretty fun i guess. determined to be that enthusiastic house captain i told them to scream their lungs out! and us jacksonites yelled away!! but i think we got second in the end. oh and third for cross. lee won. nvm there's still swim meet!! go jackson! i liked it when we played bomb between the houses :D
then after that we had to walk all the way out of turf city to go to venezia! for st lukes meeting. hahaha it was really fun walking down with zhimin! to reward ourselves we filled our bellies with gelato ice cream!! i had triple :P dark chocolate, tiramisu and the new crunchy choc.. something. hahaha. its tastes fantastic! then after that my flu started to sink in again... 
im so miserable.. fever definitely coming.. im so going home after taking my history test tmr. sorry bush, jac and jun.. forgive me for not supporting you guys tmr :/ sure you guys can do it! go mg!! and now i need to get a new box of tissues to blow my nose. hahaha
