ooh i havent posted for like more than a week! well i guess nothing THAT interesting happened. either that or i cant remember anymore! :P except that on saturday i got to do a fair bit of shopping (more new year clothes!!!) and on sunday we ate carl's juniors where i was unable to finish the entire meal once again! oh... now i know why i havent posted for so long. cos silly liz refused to let me tell her anything about the arena, so i was rejected of my rights to post about it, so i ended up not posting anything at all for more than a week!! hahaha, last last sunday (arena day) wensi and i had to bring our uniform to church and change after lunch. first time in plaza sing wearing our uniform on a sunday!! and we did stupid things like riding the iGallop and the vibrating thingy you stand on that sends.. vibrations.. throughout ur entire body! i seriously wonder how much weight u can lose from constant vigorous jiggling like that :D
ah yes ok... about my week where i didnt get to blog at all. when the main highlights were like going to ifra's house, trng on friday, history paper.. thats about it??
in order to do my memories some justice, i decided to post about the other events that happened besides fusion before i clean forget about them. like.. i got a new phone on the night before fusion! (well its considered old news now anyways) oh wait i did mention in after the whole fusion-remembrance thing!! hahaha whoops but here's pics of my new phone :D i love my new phone :D but i gotta pay for half of it when my mum realised we didnt read the newspaper advert properly. its not like 200, but like 498 bucks to be exact. WHOOPS.. hahaha but i dont mind paying half for it!
this has to be a really short post, cos after a week of not getting more than 6half hours of sleep per day, i promised myself i'd sleep early today. i haven't had the chance to post for so long and i cant remember all the significant stuff that happened this week already!! darn. well of course there were some really special things, like during level chapel on monday. that'll probably be the most memorable chapel i've ever had in mgs. :D and of course, like how i wrote the worse composition in my ENTIRE life. i wanted to try something rather different but i guess miss tan felt i didnt pull it off and passed me with a mark. though thats the lowest i ever got for any composition, i guess it feels alright. i liked trying something new anyways :D at least i know i cant write that kinda thing for my Os. hahaha.
being hectic is fun when ur being hectic over fun!!! hahaha does that make sense?!? the WHOLE of today was soooo packed full with fun fun fun!! it was non-stop action from 545 in the morning till 11 at night! talk about crazy! :D hahaha we made it there just when the last song of the worship session was over... but it's ok! they played more songs later on anyways. there were so many more ppl than at the morning session!pastor norman wong (i think) shared and sang a song, a group from cmc performed a funny skit where everyone kept boo-ing and cheering and laughing and going 'awwww!!' at the sweet parts! haha during the time where they had to fill in their forms, we were so eager to perform our duties as ushers. so we ran around looking for pens and extra forms, then running back to give them to whoever needed them. yes we tried to be good ushers.. hahaha then to end off fusion, we blasted the place down with our loud shouts of song and praises to the Lord and made the building tremble as we jumped up and down singing!! everyone was on fire for God and we wanted to have explosive passion for God just like how Jesus had demonstrated on the cross. oh but too bad all the 6 ppl i asked to come to fusion couldnt make it :( ohwells... oh and YESS!! how could i forget?! i got a new phone yesterday night!! finally hahhaha!! the Nokia N73 :D i love my new phone very much but i love my God very VERY much!!! :D

i wish every other day could be a friday, when we can stay out late, stay up late and stay in late on saturday too :D these three days of school are stress-free so far, but i seriously can't get used to only 7 hours of sleep a day! i need at least like.. 10!! hahaha.. my goal of being real discliplined has been foiled by one tree hill!! though bushy keeps saying its so boring.. it's quite ok what!! but i felt like killing brooke when she was all drunk and evil!! anyway, i felt so guilty after watching 2 hours of one tree hill when i was supposed to be studying or something, so i even stayed up till 10 plus to revise physics waves!! and that is supposed to redeem me.. hahaha

3 jan 2007. the day we officially became the sec 4s of mgs :) it was quite sad not seeing the familiar faces of our seniors in school. hope u guys are having fun in jc! this morning it seemed almost natural as i sinked back into my usual school morning routine, except that i knew it's a brand new year!! not stuck in sec 3 but in sec 4! whoo!! and just yesterday i barged into my bro's room to 'help him pack his bag'. i bent down at the shelf to take out his books and i was shocked to see so many number sixes all over his books!! i cant believe that little monkey is in p6 now!! hahaha you better stop playing maple story right now!!
ok before i decide to shut down my laptop and start doing all my last minute homework and studying for tests!! (gasp) i shall post about my memorable new year's eve celebration!! this was probably the most fun new year's eve i've ever had since i usually just have a family gathering and then sleep through the night till the next year. but this time! our small group (fellowship of the believers) had a little party at clarissa's house!! and on my way there with mil i found out that ah lung si is back from holiday!!! ah lung si!! and the turnout for the party was pretty good :) clarissa steph stella mil si michael john qiyang eugene russell kenneth lucas michael and sean.. did i miss anyone out? anyways we should seriously do this kinda thing more often.. our small group needs it.. we were actually sitting together in one place other than in ywca and having fun!! haha yup and the girls squeezed ourselves into the kitchen and had so much fun cooking sausages and scrambled eggs, making maggie mee and pizza, yelling 'clarissa where's the pot?!? how do u turn on the oven?! clarissa!!!' hahaha but in the end it still wasnt enough food for everyone and clarissa's mum ordered in pizza for us!! so we attacked the pizzas and sat down to watch little miss sunshine, until the dvd conked out right at the moment where the doctor announced the grandfather died!! and when gawain called to ask us whether we wanted him to buy anything else, we started yelling ridiculous things like abalone!! ben and jerrys! spicy drumlets! and shandy!!! no one really expected him to buy all that nonsense, but after a while we all had to go home already. then gawain called to say he was on the way with darren and he actually bought EVERYTHING!! too bad i couldnt stay to eat my ben and jerrys... and it was PHISH FOOD!! :( so the guys went back to clarissa's house to gobble everything up!! but the party didnt end there, when i got home my sister's small group was having a party at my house! haha and when i walked up the stairs i was surprised to see wensi's brother right there! i was like. eh why are u here?! so there was MORE PIZZA.. goodness im sick of pizza right now.. and at night when i wanted to leave for watchnight i couldnt leave my house for like 20 mins cos they were having a worship session at the area right at my doorstep!! i couldnt go barge through them and say, excuse me! sorry to interrupt ur worship session but i gotta put on my heels and get to church!! haha yep and so once again, for the fourth time, i was late in meeting mil. except this time is was totally not my fault :P then we decided to go back to church for the p&p session. that was a fantastic and perfect way to start the new year!! singing praises to the Lord for everything He has done and will do in our lives, shouting praises and jumping up and down, and silently making promises and dedicating myself to Him once again. for the past few days i've prayed alot and received reassurance that He will walk through all struggles that i'll face alongside with me. all i have to do is have faith and trust :) after ending with tell the world that jesus lives, everyone started going around and giving each other hugs and new year greetings :D it was such a happy and warm atmosphere!

hehehe... everybody loves a ride :Danyway. there were lots of things going on today! like prefects' installation!! and the beginning of our tournament!! there was so much excitement!! partially from missing class :P there were so many things going on, my camera had 210 photos by the end of today -.- (wensi is responsible for about one third of them and jo another one third. hahah!)
this being my last prefects' installation (sob!) and the year i get a title in the CC, my mummy decided to come down and support me! the last time she went was p6 (where mrs david actually skipped my name ok!!! i will never forget that!!) oh and wensi's mummy and mine were sitting partners (hahaha so primary school) anyway, just before entering the hall in the morning, all of us were so jittery hyper and anxious. meddling with our hair and complaining about how we looked in the blazers, stockings and court shoes! then finally we heard the ensemble start playing and 72? 71? of us started marching into the hall in two rows, grinning away so hard and looking all smart and proud of this day :D 
haha beu and sann look so serious!! dont we look smart? :Dfrom left: wensi, beu, sandy dandy, me, joey, chow and baba!!then the whole programme commenced. the most memorable parts were getting a backache from sitting to straight, remembering to keep my legs together (being the front row), the whole PB trying to coordinate sitting down and standing up in unison, and when joey dropped her programme and tried to sneakily pick it up while the handbells were playing :D, and of course!! the moment when crystal announced 'the asst head of student affairs committee 2007, wong jia min!' i was so nervous and excited as i walked out to receive my badge. but it was so fun!!!friends cheering (mum included) and me grinning away like an idiot on stage!! hahaha. sigh... my last installation!! noo!! after the entire thingy, we went downstairs to take our PB 2007 pic (and alot more while waiting for miss bong and miss ho to come down :P whoever's cam that was must send the pics to me!!) then we went for the reception!! hahaha we are special and we had the privilege to go for the reception this year. oh wait, everyone got to go this year. haha darn. oh wells it was more of a time to take pics than to eat! and my mum was socialising with other mums, and talking to miss bong.. haha. we sooo didnt wanna go back to class but were forced to in the end.

one third the SA Comm 2007, plus chow pow! haha u extra girl!!after enduring till 1140, we got to leave for competition! we took bus to the teachers' college, and were welcomed with like a gazillion mosquito bites!! goodness!! the courts were locked up, so we scattered around the grass patch and within 5 secs!! someone said 'eh there are lots of mosquitoes here!' and practically immediately everyone started to feel itches and had to whack their legs like crazy! i had like.. four vicious little bites on each legs! darn the mosquitoes.... haha well the mg tennis team must be really sweet ppl with such sweet blood :P
so anyways, the line up was xingting 1st singles, maisie 2nd and audrey 3rd. then jo and chery 1st doubles, hannah and i 2nd doubles. and the overall score against SACSS was 4-1!! go mg!!! hahaha way too lazy to include details. probably will for a more exciting match :D

on thursday liz zhimin jac tang and i went to ifra's house after school to finally get started on our bio project (about HAZE). though it was kinda silly having zhimin's group there too, we'd probably wouldnt get anything done with so many ppl around. and we were right! hahaha we had delicious malay food for lunch ,watched 45 mins of one tree hill (where i had left off) before finally getting started. but there was only like one computer, so we split the research. i only had to do it for like 20 mins before i covered my part. then i did like 2 questions of my amath hw... and went back to watch one tree hill!! hahahaha what was i supposed to do otherwise!? :D then as they finished their part of the project they came to join me, except jac was just snoring away on the couch. zhimin got a pic of her being such a lazy sloth :P oh yes.. and ifra's poor cancer cat Angel. it had some eye problem thingy which was really really scary. i couldnt bear to look at it. its right eye was like completely swollen or something.. and the whole area around it was completely red with inflammed skin or something. but from far it really looks gruesome, as though it was all blood. i just couldnt look at the poor cat. ifra ask ur mum to try another vet!!! 
lazing on the couch watching one tree hill!! whoops tang u look a little.. :Pfriday was a really great day. i was actually happy to go to school cos.. it's a friday!! no explanation required :) i was hyper all morning.. till like 12 plus when chemistry finally rolled around and i found myself completely zapped of energy. chemistry.. no wonder why.. we got back our first history test of the year. though i got a rather pathetic mark of 15/25, i have reason to rejoice!! for those whom i constantly complained to last year, they would know that i had this terrible streak of twelves and thirteens practically the whole year!! seriously! we had like what, 15 history tests throughout the year and all were twelves and thirteens except maybe for one rare 15 or something. till the finals came and i actually got 80 for history!! haha, i remember how ECSTATIC i was then. but i was kinda scared this year history would repeat itself. whoops no pun intended. so when i got the paper back and i saw this 'way to go!' stamp instead of that stupid 'keep trying' winnie the pooh one that i constantly received last year, i was so happy!! i mean until now i can still have the winnie the pooh stamp etched in my mind.. *shiver* hahaha as much as i know 15 is a bad score, im still glad this year started off better than i hope, and we shall all push for the last 100m sprint like mrs ng wants us to!! :Dand yeah, the friday got better :D we went like 40 mins earlier before our trng to hit around. and it was probably the best warm up i ever had!! i could just FEEL that it was gonna be a great day from the way i was hitting and how good i felt at whacking each ball. oh but before the great part, i suddenly remembered. silly old coach was reading out the dates of the draw for us and we were excitedly talking here and there while he was babbling on. ( we, meaning jess wensi and hannah) then while jess and wensi, both beside me, we talking so loudly non stop, coach was suddenly like ' JIA, which day are we playing dunno dunno what school?!' like how was i supposed to remember when he just said it?? then i had to do 10 pushups cos i said the wrong thing. so he continued to torture us (well actually just hannah jess liz wensi jo and i) by asking us when were we playing who, where was it held kinda nonsense.. and it was kinda funny cos we were all screaming coach and protesting how unfair it was.. hahaha :Dthen we finally got down to playing. jo (who finally came back for trng but is still sick!) and i had to play doubles against wensi and jess. and jo and i were really determined since we said last week we were gonna be really serious if we wanna be main 7 for the tournament. it was a really fantastic game!! i had many good long rallies with jess, a couple of good volleys, but my serves kinda sucked. jo's serves volleys and groundstrokes were good too!! 4 of us were having a really intense match. like 1 all, 2 all, so on and so forth till it actually went to 6-6!! we had a tie breaker... and jo and i won 7-4!! whoo!! it was a really fun game! though i kinda screwed up. at like... 5-4 i think, it was my service and as most of the previous games, we went to sudden death, BUT i just HAD to DOUBLE FAULT and we lost that game just like that. then the next game, wensi's turn to serve we went to sudden death again. and i was just telling jo 'cmon focus we can do this' all that kinda thing. so i got ready to receive the serve, it came to my backhand and i just whacked it out. -.- so silly. i wasted two games like that, right at the crucial moment. but ohwells! we all make mistakes. i just make mine at really terrible times. hahaha. but jo and i were really having a great time! we covered each others back, felt so determined to be focus and not screw up like last week... it felt GREAT!! but jo, we gotta continue working hard yeah!?!? let's go!! :D yeah, so that's all i can remember about this week at school. of course it was fun when steph and i were having our high moments again. helps to keep things going when lessons are soo sooo DULL. so after my 10 hour sleep today, i finished my one tree hill season two (grins) and decided to study for next week's tests! so i sat down at my table, saw these two stacks of books that had been there for really long and said 'hmmm i should really sort my stuff out so i have space to put these books on my shelf'. then as a result, i got into this huge spring cleaning mood, and spent the next 3 hours sorting out all my junk, throwing all the nonsense away, and rearranging the multitudes of books and files from everywhere. hahaha i shant go on to mention all the junk i uncovered. but everytime i look through my nonsense stashed away i always end up recalling certain memories. like i found this 'making the grade' programme thing (which i wasnt involved in, just part of the audience) and i remembered cassie said she was in that musical. so i found her pictures in it and it was so funny!! cassie was the principal it that musical. hahaha she looked so different compared to now. but that was like... 3 years ago i think. then i found the IBM young inventors camp thingy. diane and tiff went too!! so i saw all the pics and tiff was already taller than me at that time! (with the short hair and cheesy victory sign poses :D) and diane with her glasses and all.. haha of course i looked silly too, but looking at the pics made me remember how fun that was. and its kinda like fate that now i know diane through tennis and tifff through church! :D that was...woah like 4 years ago. end of p5. hahaha and after i cleared all my nonsense, found some long lost things, i came to blog instead of doing my work. :D hehehe. then i found these two candles that we bought in thailand like a gazillion years ago and decided to light it to see whether i can get all the shells and stuff inside. hahaha. seriously.. they're those kinda things which are so pretty but useless to get. like the tons of notebooks i have thrown away across the years, the stickers i found, all kinds of decorative pens i find no use for anymore. haha but everyone has this kinda junk. it's part of life, having all kinds of things u dont need. i really hope i have outgrown this buying stuff you dont need habit :D

3.2 mega pixels :D that was before fusion... but besides everything that i said about during fusion, i missed out something relatively impt. how LIZ gave me this GIGANTICOUS BRUISE!!! hahaha liz ong i will never forget how vicious u were!! :D so wensi and i were playing this really retarded game cos we were so high at fusion. we would charge at each other, and then see who backs out first. (hahah yes very retarded and immature) and we played two rounds without getting injured. actually.. si ur watched scratched my finger but thats nothing. haha THEN.. we decided to ask mil and liz to play with us! and LIZ was like ok UR ON!! NO BACKING OUT!! then we charged towards each other like insane bulls, then i realised liz was nowhere near slowing down! so i put my hands out to stop her before her entire body collided into mine. she put out her hands too, but she was going too fast, and she just HAD to bend her knees while stopping.. and her knee slammed right into mine!! it was SOOO painful!!! i nearly died from the agony!! hahaha a little extreme, but it even hurt when i walked and my jeans touched it ok... then i forgot during trng and did pushups the girl style, when i stood up i realised i had a bruise because there was this sharp stinging pain to remind me!! and now... exactly a week later i still have that bruise, but smaller and doesnt hurt anymore.. hahaha liz ong!! i will remember u for life for giving me bodily HARM!! :D but i think im such a klutz sometimes.. the following monday when i tried to re-enact the scene to show everyone how liz had INJURED me.. i was so agitated i kinda scratched myself on the other knee with a rusty chair leg nearby.. whoops.. such a loser :P

day 3 since accident: i got myself a cut on my other knee -.- so that was during fusion. after fusion, was a sunday. youth alive came to play at wesley! (god of miracles is such a great song!) then after that, we had our philotheos lunch at swensens!! there were like 30 of us, so we had to split into two groups. i had a whole STICKY CHEWY CHOCOLATE all for me!! it was soooo good... oh and i shared fries with mil. it was a time of good food, good fun with everyone.. and more importantly.. the good food! hahaha and yangshen came up with an idea for a band beloved shirt! i want a shirt!!! yayyy :D anyways mil and i had to leave earlier. then i went to meet my mum and sis at IMM so we could get some shopping done. darn.. wish i bought more clothes.
my STICKY CHEWY CHOCOLATE!! (taken with my 3 day old phone at that point of time:D)so that was a really fantastic weekend where i completely didnt do any homework :D thats what made it great. and this week i got season two of one tree hill from tang, and im proud to say that this morning at.. ok afternoon at 1pm i finished season two!! :D (now for the greatly acclaimed season 3.. hehehe) but when the week started it was pretty crappy. since the night before fusion till this thursday night, i didnt get more than 6 half hours of sleep everyday. it was terrible. so i compensated by sleeping for 10 hours yesterday night!! i deserve it!! so what happened this week.. hmmm i cant quite remember. but this post is kinda long. i shall start on another post when i remember! :D

well other than school and doing homework, its pretty much i dunno.. ONE TREE HILL!! hahaha yes i know i sound like such an addicted freak.. but its so nice to watch!! (no matter what u say BUSH.. i LOVE it!! :D) except sometimes all the drama and trauma in the show is killing me. i always feel so sad when something happens. like when i watched just 10 mins ago, nathan and haley are still having problems when they are SO SWEET TOGETHER!! in the car ride to see her he was recalling all those cute moments they had together (like the answering machine one), and i cant stand it that they are still fighting!! NOOO.. and i believe they are only gonna be ok in season 3. darn i cant stand too much sadness in one show... and OK this is the END of my short post. i shall brush my teeth, do my quiet time and go to bed by.. 11!!! YES I WLL!! :D

and the highlight of today was FUSION!!!! explosive passion!! boom!! at 715 on the dot mil and i reported punctually at suntec convention hall 602 for our usher duty! liz wensi mil and i were ushers for fusion 2007 and we have the exclusive fusion shirt!! :D

our first task as ushers was to greet everyone coming in during the morning. wensi and i stood there and greeted everyone brightly with 1000 watt smiles and said 'good morning!! (grin) please make your way to the two middle blocks in the front. thank u!' hahaha. so in the morning we had a worship session before moving off for our workshops. youth alive from australia came to play for fusion and they're really fantastic!!! anyways we went for the youth outreach one where they talked about where we fit in as part of the Great Commission, and the different perspectives there are for us in this Gospel Age. and the Principle of Salty Speecwell there was alot more too, but theres alot of reading up to do on this. yes i will find time to do that :D it was interesting but kinda long.. our butts were freezing off sitting there for about two hours.. hahaha 
while we were having a break outside the room, the cool bassist from youth alive suddenly popped out from nowhere and he took a pic with us!! hahaha his hair is so cool even though i can't imagine how he manages to wash it properly. ewww. then after we had a yummy lunch provided for us, liz wensi glenda nicole and i went around taking pics everywhere and stacy even helped be our photographer for a while :D but wensi and i had to leave for trng, so we missed the other workshop and the part where the different bands from the various methodist churches went to perform ( i heard wesley rocked!!! whoo!) 
so we rushed back to wensi's house from suntec to get clothes and all that. since we decided to go back after trng. so we had to rush back and change, dump everything into our bags and leave for yew tee within 15 mins!! well actually, the reason we had to rush so much was cos from city link we window shopped, went to HMV, then went around j8 after alighting at bishan. and we bought pouches for our handphones and mp3s... but in the end we got there on time! trng was TOUGH today. coach was being all nuts and torturing us so that our mental would become stronger. we were kinda pissed off with him but i guess it was a good rigorous workout after all :D ahhh.. i love tennis!! tournament starts on 29th jan. after trng (mann my muscles have been hurting since we started trng on monday!! coach comes up with different ways to murder our legs) we had to take our showers real quick and rush off in a cab back to suntec!! join in the excitement of fusion!! we had the uncle to stop outside mcdonalds while we ran in to grab a mcnuggets meal each, and then shoved it down our throats on the way to suntec. haha well, shove is kinda extreme a word.
and after that it was like some sort of autograph session. everyone was charging around with fusion posters asking the youth alive band to sign them. so we ran around and manage to take pictures with all of them! so i guess today was really fun and meaningful. though right now im so sleepy i cant remember everything that was said today.. i seriously need sleep. oh and youth alive will be going to ym tmr too!! we get double dosage :D (term stolen from marcus)

" Monday, January 8, 2007oh darn it's monday again... and all the tests are starting this week -.- the 'relaxing' first week of school is OVER and it's time to get serious!! (but im so distracted with one tree hill!! no...) i nearly died today cos i didnt have time to do my homework! but fortunately, i pulled it off :Dyesterday was a really fun sunday! perfect ending of the first week before the stress starts to settle in like some deadly poison. service yesterday was really good too :D it's like everything we sing, hear or pray about serves as a daily reminder to us for the rest of the week. and i loved the offering song! In Christ Alone :D the words were so meaningful, reminding us how much Jesus did for us and how we can stand in His power. the tune was stuck in my head throughout the entire emath period! and we had to make a pledge to bring two non-believers of backsliders to ym within 6 months. well i really hope i know what to say and what to do. yes my problem is small while my God is BIG!! :D and after eating pepperlunch and having starbucks, we were at the arcade till my mummy finally came to pick me up after visiting this chubby two day old baby. hahahawell anyway yes the arena experience!! that was really quite cool afterall, even though they cheated us.. haha they said it would end at 8 and it ended at like 930 or something! i stayed up till like 12 to do my homework yesterday.. we waited around for about one hour before they finally decided to let us into the studio. and meanwhile we just discussed the cheers and took loads of pics :D haha i'll never forget all the funny actions we came up with! the studio was actually quite small but somehow they make it look rather big on tv. then the place was decorated to look like some medieval.. gladiator kinda arena with the 'stone' pillars and all. but to summarize the entire event, i have never screamed so much and so loudly before. it beats even all the camps i've been to. just that 3 hours there..gdness...

becky and chloe keep trying to be pests! hahah they look so retarded! before the debators (celine beu and rebecca!!! u guys were GREAT!!) came out in their outfits/costumes, they wanted to film us cheering first. so we did like 3 diff cheers before deciding the familiar old MG Warrior was the best = loudest. together with san, joey, becky, chloe, becs and char, we helped to lead the supporters into the cheers throughout the whole thing.. and we basically just screamed our guts out whenever the guy signalled for us to do so. which was ALOT. after a while it got quite funny cos when the guy signalled to cheer, we would start going HYSTERICAL.. and once he signalled to stop, everyone's face completely changed from ecstatic to.. 'oh goodness i serriously can't do this anymore' haha i dont know how to describe it but it was so funny how we had to scream and wail like nuts for the camera and then sighed and plonked ourselves back down onto the seats.

i sneakily took a pic of the judges! but im sure they saw me!! hahaha shucksand i had this new found respect for the three debators. it's like usually celine and beulah can be such blur toads and so retarded sometimes :D hehe.. but that was my first time watching them at a real competition, and i was soooo IMPRESSED. they can react so fast to what the other schools were saying and they say it with so much conviction and power or something! it's a completely different and amazing side of them and i think everyone just loves watching the transformation everytime. i am so proud of the three of you!!! esp the part where the st. nics girl pretty much insulted everyone at the studio including her own supporters and beu told her to 'have some respect' for them. haha i LOVED that part! :D and of course, we had a fun time entertaining ourselves during the breaks and all. i was so sure somebody was gonna come up to me and confiscate my camera or something. cos at the back of the ticket it said no photography allowed, and i was sneaking shots at the studio :D hehehe.. i got pics of the host adrian pang and the judges! though it's kinda blur ohwells :P well it was a great time showing our school spirit and love for all our mg team debators! it was simply FANTASTIC and a great experience being at the studio! and of course witnessing how scary the three of them can be once they go into their debate mode! hahaha :D

all we had to eat the whole time was hello kitty marshmallows -.- we even gave them to the judges!! but it was not a bribe.. hahahahow we entertained ourselves: we filmed our boom dynamite cheer. with actions. hahaha!! special edition: where grace, our camera man falls off her seat!! haha gracie! but anyways, i have just finished the first season of one tree hill!! hahaha yes im very behind but i finished!! ifra u WILL NOT pass me the second season till.. at least till this week's tests are over!! if not i will just DIE!! it was so sweet!! nathan finally acknowledged lucas as his brother!!! and haley got married to nathan. woah crazy ending.. oh and dan got some heart attack seizure thing!! so scary! but!! i MUST RESIST!! no season two YET!! :D

i'm sooo glad i decided to go for trng after the nobel proze exhibition thingy today!! even though by the time liz and i got to the courts we could only play for like 10 mins before physical begin -.- and we were so upset cos we were playing like crap.. i hate not trng for like 2 weeks!! ruins all my strokes! and coach was evil.. i can't believe he made us run 2.4 on our first trng back. but then again, i seriously NEEDED to run. all my fats are like piling up into some huge mountain and i could feel my muscles turning into fats... hahaha im spouting nonsense now :P i ran with sam all the way and even though it was such a lousy and utterly pathetic timing (12:45), it felt really good to run and we built up our speed all the way! :D nice run sam!
jo and i decided to stay back after trng to play a while more. if not i'll just feel so devastated if i went home knowing i played like crap today. and jo is so nice to whack around with!! my strokes are 75% back to normal and im a happy girl :D then we went to join the sec one's campfire... exactly three years ago i was sitting at that very quadrangle for my campfire.. we are OLD... then finally my mummy came to pick us up and we went home for dinner!! i was ravenous...
hope we manage to find team tennis skirts tmr!! if not we die... and cant wait for lessons to start for real!! need to feel the PRESSURE before i can bring myself to be so disciplined :D

ewww i look so hideous!!! but the little piggy looks cute :P all ready for our first day of school!!every year since sec two, whenever i walk through the mass of sec ones at the concourse, i'll always recall how i felt when i was in sec 1, staring at the black and white class lists pasted on the board. i remember i was so DEPRESSED!! no other word to describe how i felt exactly 3 years ago. i had NONE of my good friends from primary school in the same class, and i had three ppl i strongly disliked then in that class too(primary school childishness :P) i was seriously sooo devastated and lost, and i remember thinking 'this cannot be happening.. this cannot be happening..' haha but that was so long ago and i made really good friends in 1H after all :)so this year, i'm sitting with fat steph again!! sec row from the left, right at the back!! :D haha with bush and liz sitting in front of us... but i promised to be really good this year, so i will not be a naughty prefect to loves to talk in class again :D everyone is eager to make a new start! and 4H even got a new co-form, miss ho! since mrs kwan is pregnant and all. honestly it was quite boring today. i mean it was great seeing all my friends again and talking abt all kinds of nonsense like usual, but nothing exciting. oh but i had to 'model' uniform 4 for the school rules briefing. so joey, hui, char, si and i got to sit backstage and yak away while poor manda had to nag the sec ones about the school rules. then after recess we had to do it again for the other levels, and manda had to repeat everything again while we just sat backstage. (si and i played bingo :P) it was quite retarded la... i had to tuck my pe shirt into my shorts and just stand there in my sports shoes while manda talks abt stupid uniform 4 for so long. i could pick out so many of my friends' faces from the crowd and they all smiled and laughed at me when i made eye contact with them!! haha yes i know i always look so idiotic whenever i tuck in my shirt :Poh and si gave me LIGHTING BUGS gummy candy (magical tong included) from U.S!! use the magical tong to pick up the gummy worm and it lights up!! hahaha well it's just a little lightbulb on the tong that shines through the wormie obviously.. but it was really cute to see them light up when we opened it during recess!! i saved two to show my bro when i got home cos it's so cute!! but he was just interested in how the tongs worked -.-

it GLOWS!! how does it do that?! hahaha :Doh yes.. then on the way home i met zhou hao on the bus, and he doesnt have to go to school anymore so he can stay at home to slack and watch videos!! he was even on his way to mag's house to get even more videos!! sigh.. made me wonder what it's like to be out of jc and everything. seems really far away right now but i know time will just fly like it always does... i cant imagine myself leaving mg after 10 years!! not that i wanna stay in sec school but it'll be quite sad after so many sentimental years with tons of precious memories. so we should make this year count even more!!! :D

yesterday was the first time i went for watchnight and it was seriously fun! though during the service i had to try so hard to gather all my strength and energy to focus on all the prayers and the sermon. i was kinda zoning in and out cos i was so sleeepy already.. and i didnt know all the songs they were singing!! so when i saw the title jesus, lover my soul i was like yes! ok at least i know that one song!! but nope... it's not the one we sing chapel or something.. it's the adult hymny version. -.- ohwells at least i tried to understand what the pastor was saying about scraped tablets. after holy communion in the sanctuary mil and i left for the hall since there was going to be a p&p after 12. when we went it the whole place was dark and on the screen we saw the pastor in the sanctuary, his face lit only by the flame of one candle, and we were all making our silent prayers and waiting for him to announce that midnight had come.. then in the silence, suddenly his voice boomed over the speakers and said, 'according to my watch, it is now officially 2007' and everyone starting cheering and screaming happy new year, shaking hands and giving hugs!! then a few of us suddenly remembered the fireworks and dashed out of the hall and headed for the side of fort canning park. we managed to catch the second half of the fireworks display and it was so pretty!! all the bright and vibrant colours splashed across the nightsky and people all around celebrating the arrival of the new year with us!

then michael wanted to go to kap for supper even though it was already like 1am. but i didnt wanna just go straight home to sleep after such an exciting night so i decided to go too!! my sis was reluctant but in the end we persuaded her and got yun hao to join us too! :D BUT... in the end we waited more than an hour at the bus stop and our bus never came!! after a while on the nightrider bus came and we were stranded!! we couldnt call a cab cos probably half of singapore was trying to get a cab to save them too. we even had thoughts of WALKING home.. all the way from park mall to upper bukit timah!!! hahah fortunately yunhao could get his parents to come and RESCUE US at like 220am. although we didnt get to eat mcdonalds, it was still really fun just standing at the bus stop with all the other stranded people and talking nonsense. oh and teasing my sister about how short she is. haha thats what happens when both guys happen to be such tall freaks and enjoy teasing someone older than them about her height disadvantage. hahaha :D well i guess it was still really tons of fun yesterday night and at least we didnt have to walk all the way home!! that would have been.. insane. so we got home at like 305am, and i immediately conked out at 315, after 30 seconds of reminiscing how marvellous my new year's eve and new year was :D
this is gonna be a really special and promising 2007! i can just feel it in me!! :D i hope i can still say this when it comes to the next new year's eve!! god bless everyone and have a fantastic 2007!!!! but for now.. i have to tie myself to the table and do all my homework!!! somebody save me... :P
