i havent posted in an eternity! though there's an essay to be written and a history test to be studied for, they can wait for a while longer :) and to update about the highlights over the past week or so, let see... there was synapse on saturday! on friday i was kinda regretting being so eager about going in the first place, since i nearly died of fatigue from stress and wanted to conk out during physics tuition. honestly, if you want to have a terrible loser-ish friday night, sign up for tuition from 7 to 9. it can kill.

green shirts after war games!but as usual, things arent as bad as u expect and synapse was real fun! our group was named PBJ for peanut butter and jelly. haha i stole it from 05's prefects nov camp. guilty as charged :) the games were pretty fun and there was a mass dance too! though it definitely cant hold a candle to the wesley camp's one last year. that was the ultimate best! but when everyone was so enthusiastic after remembering most of the steps, it was fun! i just liked the part where we started running so hard on the spot then jumped up high the air whooping away!ooh how could i forget war games! whenever guys are involved in war games, its all about alliances, backstabbing and strategizing. trying to make it, professional, in a way i guess. it was really fun at first, waiting for the other teams to kill each other and patiently pelting the few stray ones who bravely wandered into our territory. so with that wonderful strategy, we lasted really long into the 'war'. with the guys lurking out to make attacks and defending the front line, majority of the girls huddled around the flag, sacrificing their dry bodies, which soon became wet, in order to protect the precious flag. so we managed to destroy two out of three of the other teams' flags as well as one decoy flag. then all of a sudden, the other team, angered that we had destroyed their flag, broke the rules of the game and decided to take revenge. it was like mayhem when they suddenly swarmed round the flag and tried to lash their arms out to rip our flag! more than 10 girls firmly huddled around the flag and keep those crazy people away. but it was so so violent!! this one guy next to me suddenly flung his hand into the circle and ripped through our flag! not to mention that the hula hoop was already broken in the struggle. water bombs were flying, buckets of water were pouring down on us. it was seriously violent as they pushed through and finally ripped our flag to itty itty bits. and that, was the most scary but fun war game i ever had. the closest to a war i ever been through. unlike the slc one :p hahaha super fun.and the PL girls were so friendly! oh gdness but creepy, crazy charlene (whatever you wanna call her) is over-friendly! hahaha love u too charlene! and grace, jodie, elizabeth, charmaine too! wont forget u girls! :D PBJ was a great group! our campfire item was definitely not bad at all! hahaha. freshly squeezed from the biggest jellyfish from the oceans! PBJ!! <3
and yesterday during bio prac, we had our long-awaited eyeball dissection!! haha i was rather scared at first just thinking abt it. i mean the heart wasnt staring back at the me, but the eyeball could totally stare back at me while i slit it open. thank gdness i wasnt having a stomachache like during the heart dissection, i remember the smell just made me wanna puke. so bush (my favourite and my only lab partner in the whole wide world!) and i bravely took on the task of dissecting the eye only after a few screams and squeals. it was really really fascinating! after painstakingly removing all the.. stuff.. around the eyeball, we managed to slit it open and examine it closely. the best way to learn about organs is really to have a look at the real thing itself. too bad theres no more dissections... but that was real fun bush!! we should have brought out cams! well i cant think of any other major things that happened. oh health awareness week. hahaha. we did pretty ok for mass skipping 4h! we got.. second? haha well we were top 3 anyways :) and tmr is the cross country run at turf city. darn new terrain. i hate that horrible track. macritchie anyday! and theres an awful bug going around. wensi is already sick and im halfway there. darn.
