our pepperoni masterpiece!! :) it's burnt at the edges but the cheese pizzas turned out better :P

ah lung si's back! :) she and steph eating their maggie mee michael and john stuffing their faces while all the other guys watch tv. when i walked past, it was a gross scene. shame on you guys!! haha but they changed movie in the end:P

but the party didnt end there, when i got home my sister's small group was having a party at my house! haha and when i walked up the stairs i was surprised to see wensi's brother right there! i was like. eh why are u here?! so there was MORE PIZZA.. goodness im sick of pizza right now.. and at night when i wanted to leave for watchnight i couldnt leave my house for like 20 mins cos they were having a worship session at the area right at my doorstep!! i couldnt go barge through them and say, excuse me! sorry to interrupt ur worship session but i gotta put on my heels and get to church!! haha yep and so once again, for the fourth time, i was late in meeting mil. except this time is was totally not my fault :P

yesterday was the first time i went for watchnight and it was seriously fun! though during the service i had to try so hard to gather all my strength and energy to focus on all the prayers and the sermon. i was kinda zoning in and out cos i was so sleeepy already.. and i didnt know all the songs they were singing!! so when i saw the title jesus, lover my soul i was like yes! ok at least i know that one song!! but nope... it's not the one we sing chapel or something.. it's the adult hymny version. -.- ohwells at least i tried to understand what the pastor was saying about scraped tablets. after holy communion in the sanctuary mil and i left for the hall since there was going to be a p&p after 12. when we went it the whole place was dark and on the screen we saw the pastor in the sanctuary, his face lit only by the flame of one candle, and we were all making our silent prayers and waiting for him to announce that midnight had come.. then in the silence, suddenly his voice boomed over the speakers and said, 'according to my watch, it is now officially 2007' and everyone starting cheering and screaming happy new year, shaking hands and giving hugs!! then a few of us suddenly remembered the fireworks and dashed out of the hall and headed for the side of fort canning park. we managed to catch the second half of the fireworks display and it was so pretty!! all the bright and vibrant colours splashed across the nightsky and people all around celebrating the arrival of the new year with us!

then we decided to go back to church for the p&p session. that was a fantastic and perfect way to start the new year!! singing praises to the Lord for everything He has done and will do in our lives, shouting praises and jumping up and down, and silently making promises and dedicating myself to Him once again. for the past few days i've prayed alot and received reassurance that He will walk through all struggles that i'll face alongside with me. all i have to do is have faith and trust :) after ending with tell the world that jesus lives, everyone started going around and giving each other hugs and new year greetings :D it was such a happy and warm atmosphere!

then michael wanted to go to kap for supper even though it was already like 1am. but i didnt wanna just go straight home to sleep after such an exciting night so i decided to go too!! my sis was reluctant but in the end we persuaded her and got yun hao to join us too! :D BUT... in the end we waited more than an hour at the bus stop and our bus never came!! after a while on the nightrider bus came and we were stranded!! we couldnt call a cab cos probably half of singapore was trying to get a cab to save them too. we even had thoughts of WALKING home.. all the way from park mall to upper bukit timah!!! hahah fortunately yunhao could get his parents to come and RESCUE US at like 220am. although we didnt get to eat mcdonalds, it was still really fun just standing at the bus stop with all the other stranded people and talking nonsense. oh and teasing my sister about how short she is. haha thats what happens when both guys happen to be such tall freaks and enjoy teasing someone older than them about her height disadvantage. hahaha :D well i guess it was still really tons of fun yesterday night and at least we didnt have to walk all the way home!! that would have been.. insane. so we got home at like 305am, and i immediately conked out at 315, after 30 seconds of reminiscing how marvellous my new year's eve and new year was :D

this is gonna be a really special and promising 2007! i can just feel it in me!! :D i hope i can still say this when it comes to the next new year's eve!! god bless everyone and have a fantastic 2007!!!! but for now.. i have to tie myself to the table and do all my homework!!! somebody save me... :P
