ok i have to post about yesterday cos it something to remember. during a meeting in june hols, miss ho came up with a brilliant plan to turn down the volume of the national anthem and school song during assembly, so that it will somehow force the girls to sing. and cos she forced me to take charge of this whole thing, i had to do some sort of 'inspirational speech' before assembly started. so when the hallelujah song ended, everyone expected to hear 'baris sediah' like everyone other morning for the past dunno how many years! so i inhaled, and went 'good morning everyone' to start my speech. and immediately, those hundreds and hundreds of faces all snapped up to stare at me. that was pretty funny. and yeah fine now the entire school heard what i had to say. all the teachers are like 'that was really good!' and my friends are skeptical -.- 'did u really mean what u said?! or was it just PROPAGANDA??' oh my gdness. yeah i wrote it so duhh i meant it. honestly will it kill just to open ur mouths and sing the school song? yeah but that was fun. this morning we had to do the same thing and actually sing the school song twice cos nobody bothered to open their mouths. ohwells
yesterday i probably had the worst first day back to school ever. cos there practically wasnt one. it was quite scary cos during assembly i was standing at the concourse where like the entire school could see me, and i started having cold sweat and felt a little like vomitting. i just stood there trying to endure it hoping it would go away. just as i stepped aside to ask miss bong to be excused assembly ended. anyway in the end i decided to go home cos i really couldnt have lasted any longer in school. the good part was, i went home and slept from 9 until the exact time school was over! haha and i was fine by then.

had breakfast with my mum and sister at ah mei kaya toast today. hahaha the name of the shop makes me feel like we're stepping into the older days, except the shop is actually very clean and new looking. they served coffee and tea in this huge mug that's the size of a soup bowl! but i drank up all the tea anyways :) so during trng i could feel all the tea swooshing around my stomach. trng was boring. we did the same drill for 2 hours!! just in different variations of where u hit the ball -.- ah whatever i guess i did need to work on my groundstrokes. and on the way home shu called to tell me si and i have trials with weber tmr! GASP. how daunting. but i chose to suppress that anxiety all day by distracting myself with other things. i shant go worry myself about my chances of getting to rj through dsa. just keep telling myself if God doesnt mean for me to go there, be that way :)

thanks to EVERYONE who has made my day so SPECIAL!!! after that we went to eat at billy bombers! i love that place! good food, good decor, good music! i ordered the sirloin steak this time. the best way to eat it is of course medium rare!! the taste is sooo good, but when i saw the blood oozing out i felt kinda sick. right and who doesnt love billy bombers' milkshakes!? :] and GAIL gave me this adorable bear! gail u are the SWEETEST MENTEE EVER! :] this was one of the best birthdays ever!! off to BINTAN tmr!! cant wait! :]

woke up real early today to help out in church. the song was in latin, just 3 bars, but it was pretty fun when we sang it together! and mil and i were both wearing our top shop pumps today! oh yes! karen came back from australia and she's the first person to wish me happy birthday! though it isnt yet. but she thought i was like 18 or something! do i look that old!? haha and that makes joan the second person :D hahaha. then, we went to eat lunch at park mall and mil took a gazillion pics :)
i LOVE the book TWILIGHT!! twilight twilight twilight :D but bushy said the second book sucks so she spent like an hour telling me everything. i got the book yesterday morning, read a bit here and there, then from 1030pm to 2am i was COMPLETELY ENGROSSED in it and finished the entire book! i just couldnt put it down! its one of the rare books that i just cant stop reading!! theres action, excitement and romance so duhh its a good book. i actually laughed out loud at some parts and my heartrate increased tremendously at all the scary parts. hahaha
im so tired. won doubles today and on to the semifinals tmr :) when we reached kallang i realised i lost my wallet, but i was certain if i dropped it it would have been in school. thank gdness xing ting's mummy could give me a lift all the way back to school after dropping them at orchard. if not i would have never found my wallet (in class on my desk -.-) and made it back in time for the match.
slept for 11+ hours last night, then i spent my afternoon watching tv (this weird movie called mirrormask on HBO) then did the stupid stomp ppt. well its not stupid but uggh. then, jo and i took a cab to pick hannah up and we all went to kallang for our doubles match!
oh yeah and yesterday was interhouse games! JACKSON won tennis! and i dunno what else :P but it was really fun! after it ended we stayed back to play and i had such a good time whacking around! except now my arm muscles ache from being suddenly overworked like that. and jac is a NATURAL!! haha jac ur so pro!!
and im really proud of myself :D i paid attention during ALL the lessons today! such a good girl :D and after school char, si and i went to hcjc cos char and i had our dsa interviews. i made a new friend today!! there was this rgs girl called kelly who was after me, and cos they were kinda late we talked for like 15 mins. she's such a funny girl! we talked and laughed so much i was scared someone at the reception might scold us or something. haha and she learnt how the mgs uniform is actually like. oh and her brother is in the same year as my sister in acsi! hahaha! right the interview. it was ok i guess. could say it went smoothly, but i dont think i made them like super impressed or anything. ohwells. after that had dinner with si at j8, then came home. im really tired. i doubt i have homework. gdnight!

" Tuesday, June 26, 2007AND THEN. at like 2 plus. MY RED NANO ARRIVED!!!! aaaaahhhh it actually came a day earlier!!! i was SO EXCITED i tried to savour every moment of it :D
so i spent the entire afternoon inserting album artwork and lyrics into my itunes... haha i was having so much fun. at the same time i was also talking to eric who was completely slacking on his job at mediacorp. then at like 10 plus, when i was in my mum's room bugging her to watch devil beside me (she completely ignored me so i watched by myself), eric called on my sister's phone for this surprise! he was like right outside our house with midnight snacks again! and it was mcdonalds and reverso from island cremery!!! i LOVE reverso. such a sweet way to cheer a sick person up! (and a grouchy person. my sis was all grouchy for some reason) i really didnt suspect anything when he asked whether i still had an appetite. and he asked my sis what flavour i liked. haha ok fine that was probably the most interesting first day of school i ever had :D
i had no choice but to go to school today, and it was so sad having to psycho myself, telling myself that i'm back to school and i'm gonna have to start working my butt off. we had two english periods free today, so we were just talking about random stuff, mostly about jc and blah. after school i went with jun to hcjc cos she had her interview and i had to hand in my dsa stuff. i really hope jun gets in cos she so deserves it. and i talked with si for an hour plus on the phone. of course the whole jc dsa thing was part of the conversation. i have alot to think about before my interview mann. time to sit down and think where i really wanna go :/ thats toughanyways, thank u JO for the spongebob birthday gift! BOB is special cos he has green eyes and not blue like the other common, ordinary spongebobs :D
and thanks STEPH for the really cute cat cup! i love it! though i have completely no idea why on earth u decided to wrap all our presents in pad wrappers!! HAHA u are hilarious! and u are so not turning into a beggar :P

been rather busy for the past few days, only got a few hours of sleep each night. so i promised myself the latest i'd sleep today is 10. today is a nasty day and no need to say why. im so not ready to go back to school and start mugging for prelims. i've been slacking practically the entire holiday. or our 2 weeks worth anyway.
after chinese lesson on friday tang hui shan came to my house since we were both going orchard to meet our church friends later on. since she was early she decided to join marcus and me for lunch at the new resturant opened by billy bombers in cine! mmmm.. i love their milkshakes :D milkshakes! milkshakes! after lunch we went to the orchard library to study. i never ever knew there was a library in taka! i mean ngee ann city. it's not very big but theres a cafe inside and a small area where ppl go to study or work. quite nice luh :D well i did stupid emath papers for 2 hours and i was nearly dying of boredom. at 4 jotham finally came. but marcus and i were too tired to do anymore work already. it was pretty fun. we talked nonsense and jotham gossiped. haha! after dinner we went for worship prac. but becos some ppl were a little late as usual, the 3 of us played hide and seek in church! haha nobody ever found anyone. the place was just too big. and my second hiding place is so good im not telling anyone :P sigh, that was my last worship prac until Os are over.
yesterday morning i had to drag my greatly deprived of sleep body out of bed to go for STOMP. first acsi and mg collaboration prefects' camp. my group was quite nice. it was the group that had the really difficult to pronounce name. duquesne. try pronouncing that. (doo-cane. i think) games were pretty fun too :) and they had such a gigantic compound available for stomp! imagine how much space we had for the water bomb fight! the entire acsi is huge luh! everytime i go there i still find the new block very pretty. yeah anyways stomp was ok overall. could tell that the org. comm put in tons of effort and i know they spent ages preparing. hope it improves every year from now on! :D

and since i came back pretty late from stomp yesterday, i had to drag myself out of bed again. at 610 -.- i realised that everytime im really tired in the morning, i'll stone with my eyes wide open and dont realise till my eyes get so dry its painful. especially when i go to school. i stone with my eyes wide open during the car ride. haha ok anyways. beloved played for combined service today. i kinda screwed up. luckily hardly anyone knew. i hope. shucks. yeah but it was still really fun. gonna miss leading worship! and beloved of course :D such a nice band.
ok i have to solve all my issues before school starts tmr. im on the brink of depression. oh and 2 more days till my red nano comes! or 3. i hope its 2 :D

it was quite risky cos si and i just got our rackets re-stringed, and took them from coach just before we stepped into the court. the new strings make a funny sound. dont like them. i hope they break in soon.
after that went to si's house. OH but before that, we were at j8 and we bought the same puma shirt!! hahaha at first she was scared i would get mad that she got the same shirt as me, but its ok i dont care at all :D so we have the same nice nice shirt! OH and before that we went to eat ben and jerry's ice cream!! mmm a taste of heaven! :D then at her house took pics on her new mac com. but i only have one of them... 
and i finally got some of the chinese drama serial OST songs from her, and now i've got all these chinese songs stuck in my head :D

i was SO SHOCKED ok!! i actually thought they didnt plan anything for my birthday! hahaha THANKS GUYS im so touched!! and it's so funny how ifra called my house yesterday to ask for my sister's number, and i completely didnt recognise her voice! i even gave her my sister's handphone number! after that i was all like 'jie, one of your friends with a REALLY POLITE sounding voice called just now.' IFRA?! hahaha. oh yes thanks jie :]
haha im not supposed to mention this but in ifra's words, jac was 'making out' with her burger! hahaha!! this little piece of fries i had in my mouth totally went down the wrong pipe and i started choking SO HARD when ifra said that! thanks to ifra i was coughing non-stop for so long!! hahaha and after lunch we went to the arcade :]

" Wednesday, June 6, 2007and bushy is a pretty good storyteller! she omitted all the boring and soppy parts, so the entire way from school to kap and after eating our food, she told me the entire story of the second book. and my heart started beating faster at all the exciting parts! and we just found out theres a third book!!!! but its only coming out in august!! UGH. i NEED to know what happened!!!haha anyways, because i was so caught up in the book yesterday i didnt blog about yesterday afternoon! we went to jess' house to play tennis. before that we just lazed in her room and watched the top 50 child stars thingy, though we didnt recognise any of those previous generation child stars. haha but we kept commenting how good looking they were. after playing for a while wensi arrived with the whatever drink. hahaha its just tea luh. not too bad. tennis was pretty fun, then camden came down to join us.. after that we went to eat ice cream at this little shop called haato!
the ice cream servings there are huge! last time they gave me this gigantic square block of ice cream, so this time i decided to get the double scoop on a cone again and it was equally humongous!! hahah YUMMY. and we played TABOO! i never played it before! just the version where u guess people's names. and its waaay harder cos i dont recognise ANY of the names except princess xena warrior or something. 
it was SO funny. i love guessing more than describing! there were tons of hilarious moments but i can only remember when i got the word muscle. even though ur not supposed to use actions i was so excited i kinda forgot. so i said 'ok we've got lots of?' and pointed to my arm. but stupid si gave this all righteous look as though she was so certain about her answer and went 'HAIR!' haha alright maybe im not so good at describing that moment, but it was so hilarious we kept laughing and laughing till i got a stomachache and tears in my eyes. haha i love that game! even after we left we were still in the taboo mood. while we talked we still cut in to guess what each other were saying, unintentionally. so funny. and while walking out we were singing songs from musicals and disney movies.. luckily there was no one around to hear us! hahaha. well i keep saying, days like these are exactly how we should be spending our hols!

" Monday, June 4, 2007SUNDAY!ah lung si completely switched off her phone so i couldnt even call her to scream at her to wake up for church! haha and her silly answering machine.(ok wensi has just told me her saddo story of why she wasnt there. because the poor girl sprained her back playing air hockey! haha si u are so cute! i forgive u :P) and apparently mil was saving the day in the sound room so i went to join her there too for the first service. and the second service too actually. because my lunch buddy didnt even come and mil went off with the sister. i was abandoned!! haha so i went to the soundroom for company and tried to learn from yun hao how all those hundreds of knobs work. probably still as clueless as before :p then i met liz to go for our class party in sentosa!! 
bush was hunting for her buried slipper... people getting the soles of their feet burnt in hot sand... played frisbee (tang hui shan and i got the undefeated record of 33!)
went swimming in the sea with tang and rah. haha that was funny! while swimming across rah and i were laughing SO HARD we couldnt even swim properly!! i was that close to DROWNING from laughing too hard. haha next time i will so control myself before i risk drowning in the sea. 
after that we dried off playing with a volleyball called NICK. honestly! it had this ugly looking cartoon boy on it and it read nick. haha and thats how zhimin came up with her gross 'nick is coming to you!' line. we're actually good at volleyball ok! in the end it was zhimin, jac, rah, tang, petrina, jun, shanqi and me, and we managed to keep it up pretty long! haha yeah that was fun :D
sunday was a perfect example of how we should be spending our june hols, but sadly we had to go back for lessons today! uggh. and i came home and slept for like 3 hours! i need to get my sad butt back to work. but i keep watching tv and playing!
haha and listening to 'everything' over and over again. i want my future boyfriend to sing it to me next time :P if he cant sing he can just play it and it can be our song! hahaha

and we finally got back all our papers today. SIGH. my L1R5 is a double digit!! (14...) but looking on the bright side... apparently for DSA if they are deciding between 2 ppl of the same standard they take the one with the lousier grades. haha so yeah theres always a bright side to things. i guess. whatever im gonna work my butt off for prelims and Os.

i was so hungry i ordered a hotdog from the canteen then just as it was ready they called us in! the uncle in charge looked kinda exasperated when i told him i had to bring my hotdog into the courts. hahaha. hannah and i played against two girls from PL. won 6-2 6-1 :D it was a good game! hannah, with my serve and groundstrokes and your superb volleys, we make such a great team!! :D haha high-five again! like 80% of hannah's volleys were winners ok! so proud of her :D i had no double faults at all (yes im proud of that), good groundstrokes and made a couple of winners. so yes that was a good game for the both of us! hope we get through the next round tmr!
after that we went to watch our potential opponents for tmr. at first we thought this girl looked really familiar, from the way she played. then hannah went 'that girl looks like our junior.' and i was like 'oh my gdness! cos it is! jolene lau right?!' then her dad turned to look at us! hahaha she does have a unique way of playing. then as we watched jo and emmeliene play against sam and cheryl we were talking about stuff. and hannah keep ur promise ok?! i trust that u will :D
after taking mrt to commonwealth hannah's mum came to pick us up, but hannah didnt know her mum was driving a sports car! so we had to squeeze into one seat! haha so funny. and hannah's mum is funny too. then my mum decided she wanted mcdonald's supper so i met my mum, bro and sister at kap to eat mcdonalds for the second time in like 2 hours. haha what a waste of all the tennis i played for the past 2 days.
but today was a happy day :D besides the fact that i forgot that i have chem spa tmr!!! well i've studied already and now im gonna sleep. gdnight world!!
